I listen to Lady Gaga.

I listen to Kanye.

I watch hipster movies.

I watched Where the Wild Things Are.

I watched Fight Club.

I watched The Chronicles of Narnia.

I watched The Vow.

I watched The Hunger Games.

I use a hipster computer MacBook.

I use a hipster phone iPhone.

I write in a hipster notebook Moleskine.

I drink hipster beer.

     Heineken.

     Stella Artois.

     Coors Light.

     Miller Light.

I drink hipster water Arrowhead.

I use a hipster backpack Jansport.

I wear hipster shoes Sperry’s.

I [don’t] wear hipster v-necks.

I wear hipster fitted jeans.

I wear hipster colors red.

I don’t reject the gays.

I am a liberal.

I like the rain.

I like the sun.

I like the snow.

I like the lack of snow.

I like the city.

I am a Marine.

I hate the military.

I like long walks on the beach.

I like long walks in parks with a pond.

I’d like to work at a Starbucks.

I go to Starbucks.

     And order Tall Skinny Soy Vanilla Lattes.

     And order a Venti Black Tea Filled to the First Line, Lemonade to the Next, Six Pumps of Raspberry Syrup, and the Rest with Water and Ice.

     And order Tall Americanos.

I go to Applebee’s and order Cheese Quesadillas and Long Island Iced Teas.

I like eating at Yahoo’s 2011 “Burger of the Year”.

I understand and know the stereotype and “definition” of what makes a hipster.

I am not in denial.

I am not a hipster.

BECAUSE

I have my own tastes and preferences and political affiliations and morals and opinions and style and likes and dislikes, along with the rest of Earth’s population.

PRADA x FINAL FANTASY 

Wait, what? The images above appear in the latest issue of Arena Homme+ as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration of the Final Fantasy series. FF13-2 characters Lightning, Noel, Snow, Sazh and Hope are all wearing Prada gear.

They were created by Square Enix’s Visual Works studio in Japan, working alongside the Final Fantasy character designers. The magazine page feature includes “key looks” from Prada’s S/S12 men’s collection, “regarded by many as one the best of the season, with key pieces including printed silk shirts and sharp modern suiting”.

Perhaps the most bizarre video game/real life cross-over we’ve ever seen. Very nice!

Maybe it’s just the girl, but I’m completely enchanted by this song and video.
